Friends and family gathered at the True Divine Baptist Church in his hometown of Montgomery, Alabama over the weekend to mourn the recent passing of Doe B, the 22-year-old rapper who was tragically shot and killed. Following words from Doe’s mother and his manager, Frank White, Hustle Gang boss T.I. took to the podium to deliver a touching eulogy. Tip praised Doe B’s talent, maturity and potential, and also promised that “all of my energy will be put forth to making sure that his dream lives on.” Amen.
It’s very rare that you find somebody at the age of 20 or 21 and you could walk them into a room with a Puff Daddy, you could walk them into a room with a Nelly, or you could walk them into a room with a Timbaland or a Jay Z, and they not lose their cool. They’re composed, postured, with the morals, standards, and the principles that were instilled in him from his family, his mom, his dad, grandmama, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles.
