Mikey: I haven’t had a night like this in a minute, first we kicked things off at the Highline to catch Diggy & Wale rock before a sold out crowd (more on that later), but things got ridiculous at T.I.’s Axe-sponsored “secret” show. In his first big concert in NYC since his release from prison, Tip put on for his city, performing just about every record you’d want to hear while drinking top shelf liqs with the homies (shouts NMC fam). “Bring Em Out”, “Big Things Poppin”, and all that… still you can’t be an artist of T.I.’s caliber and not call on some superfriends while doing a show in Gotham. Cam & Vado made em speak in tungs, but Ms. Mary J. Blige shut the place down. Video evidence after the jump. (Thanks to June & Sam at Atlantic)

Miss Info maybe you can help me on this because it always bothered me.. Do Cam’ron not know that Oh Boy is the number 2 played song in DEF JAM HISTORY.. Why dont he perform it?? Do he not know that Horse and Carriage bring back alot of good memories for his fans. WHat Mean The World to You is one of my favorites.In order to push forward sometimes you gotta go back..I wonder how much would he ask for If they said that he has to perform those songs.. WHY DONT HE??? Its classic material thats just in a vault

Honestly some artist just try to push newer songs out to have that affect..I always thought about that each time cam performs… Some artist also dont remember the words ..personally i like “let me know ” from cam too .. cam was ill then

lol it’s a lil awkward for him to do OH BOY coz of Juelz then i feel like he ashamed about Horse and carriage and that other song, i think you need to go to an ALL CAM’RON type of show, then he would have no choice…

ive been to an all Cam show and he never proforms Oh Boy,Let Me Knoe or Horse and carriage… it freaks me out sometime cuz those where the songs that made me a Cam fan in the 90’s

Anybody who really follow Cam’Rons career and feel his spirit, you can see with that old stuff he was just getting in the game with the exception of “oh, Boy” that pop feel stuff was probably 4 show not in his heart. Some stuff is commercial.
