SZA is going home to rest. The Grammy-nominated songstress has been removed from TDE’s “The Championship” North American tour. In an announcement made on Twitter, TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith revealed the singer was taken off temporarily (for now) due to swollen vocal cords. Speaking on the situation Tiffith said, “Her vocal cords are swollen and she have to rest her voice to prevent any permanent damage.” SZA will be re-evaluated in a few days and an update on her health and possible return to the tour will be given soon after.

Starring Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and more, “The Championship” tour runs through May, ending on June 16 in Pittsburgh, PA.
