An SNL performance like SZA’s on Saturday night is a tough act to follow for any artist, but the TDE songstress had another night to remember in NYC last night. As her extensive Ctrl Tour neared the end of its four-month run at Irving Plaza in New York City last night, SZA brought out surprise guest Chance The Rapper to perform their woozy “Child’s Play” collaboration, off 2014’s Z EP.
Most of the set, however, was dedicated to SZA’s fantastic Ctrl album, which is up for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the GRAMMYs next month.
