…this man is living da dream! this is a guy who was on the verge of a career downturn just 2 years after he initially blew up! EVERYONE thought he was done! including I, then the man came back with an onslaught of hitz n branched off in to shit half these fake rich rappers WISHED they could do. AND he givin’ back genuinely…shout out to the man for real! THE LAST RUFF RYDER STANDING!!!!! PERIOD!

I don’t wanna be an ass about this, but I feel that this is an insult to real artists who invested a lot of time and money into their passion. His work does neither have depth nor substance that speaks for quality. It only shows his lack of knowledge in the art realm and just because he owns a few well known pop art pieces, it doesn’t make him passionate for art. Same goes for him rapping.
Sorry Swizz. I like your beats though.

Shout Out 2 Swizz he’s really showin his creative work as an artist and producin track 4 hiphop,R&B, and Rock artist like Matalica. He is really a real HipHop artists to but his handwork painting together. Do the Damn thing Swizz!!

Nocando, I don’t care for his pieces myself. But if he’s able to make a name for himself … then he truly deserves his props. In the real art world, a name and your associations is everything.
You really can’t gauge his passion just by the pieces he own. It’s his personal taste. Don’t forget that throughout history, the art realm has been dictated by taste makers, just like fashion, just film, music, etc.

Is this guy serious? I guess everybody has to start somewhere, but Basquiat knock-offs and skulls? This guy is one step past nouveau riche and really feeling himself, huh? Unfortunately anyone that knows the first thing about art will – well wait – they’re all kiss asses in the art world, so they’ll pose for a picture with him and snicker quietly to themselves I guess.

This piece looked and felt like a bad PSA or extended ego stroke next time leave the rap out about going to cancer it’s a bit too much

Swizz Beatz with his wannabe Basquiat approach, talikng about “I did not want any training”. Nucca puhlease! Ends with don’t collect art as an investment…Right! As he owns Basquaits, Worhol and Herrings. Oh I guess he just “happend” to love Herring 1st time he saw him without some gallery owner saying “oh this will grow in value!” Nucca Puhlease!

Swizz Beatz …als Maler…
Das Video is schon ein bisschen älter, hab ich aber gerade erst entdeckt. Swizzy, bekanntlich einer der bekanntesten New Yorker Produzenten (u. a. für DMX, Jay-Z, T.I.) geht jetzt auch unter die Maler.
Gar nicht mal schlecht und so ne Sammlung wie er…
