Swizz Beats denies firing Alicia’s manager, and talks about wedding plans: “Our union is positive no matter what people say”

Last weekend, Alicia Keys announced that she was parting ways with her longtime manager Jeff Robinson, who immediately grumbled that the firing was orchestrated by Alicia’s man, Swizz Beats. Swizz sent over this exclusive response to missinfo.tv saying:
“I’m too busy to fire anybody. I’m wrapping up my album, plus both Lenny Kravitz and Coldplay projects. Also, people need to just accept change.”
But now the buzz is all about Swizz and Alicia’s upcoming “wedding ceremony.” Life & Style reported the ceremony would be this summer in Europe. MediaTakeout claimed that the party would be this weekend in the Islands. Today, OK Magazine has an interview with Swizz where he laughs off those rumors but talks about his wedding ideas, how Alicia will adjust to motherhood, and more….
Swizz on his wedding plans:
“Well its not this weekend! But you know, we’re excited. Our union is amazing. Our union is pure. Our union is positive no matter what people say or what people think, time will tell everything and you know, silence is the best thing. We just keep it private and we do our thing and just have fun with it.”
“[The wedding ceremony will be] just an amazing day. Very intimate. It’s not a superstar wedding. It’s not a gimmicky wedding. It’s a true bond of love, you know, that’s not based on having the most famous person sitting there while you’re doing it. It’s about having the closest people who really understand you as a person and that really have love for you. So it’s a small situation.”

“I’m very excited about that! Children, you know, they’re a blessing and I’m very excited. [My older kids are] excited as well. We keep the energy positive. Everything surrounding kids should always be positive. That’s the number one rule….I think [Alicia's] going to be an amazing mom because she’s an amazing person. If youre an amazing person, it all equals the same thing.”

Its your site, so if you’re unsatisfied with the quality of the comments you can remove them. It has the same effect as making comments such as this to discourage people from saying what they want.
This is usually my favorite website to visit while I’m suffering at work but it bugs me when you go back and forth with people on here. That’s the only reason I commented.

“Homewrecker”?!? You know divorce ain’t quick, especially when both parties aren’t down for it and there’s money and kids involved. They were separated and moving towards the end. Alicia Keys didn’t make him leave the home, he already left. They split in 2008 and divorced in 2010.. he’s supposed to stay solo, gtfoh.

You know Mashonda already came out and said that the reason for the divorce was Swizz’s affair with A. Keys right? They were still married and, in her eyes, happily so. So, I don’t know where you got your info.

Mashonda’s been doing her thing on the side as well. She just has the best position to play victim as the least famous of the 3 celebs involved.

Its funny to me when females attack the new “situation” and feel the need the need to stick up for Mashonda. The reason being they are scared it could happen to them lol.
The fact is Swizz Beatz and his ex-wife both decided to part ways. It doesn’t make a difference to me whether they started dating while they were married/separated the fact is he chose Alicia over Mashonda it doesn’t matter when it happened, if Mashonda couldn’t pick up on signs her marriage was over, tough! She should find some1 who will appreciate her.
Alicia Keys is beautiful, talented and philanthropist and she deserves to be happy. If Swizzy is that dude so be it.

I always felt like there’s more to the story than what Mashonda is saying (obviously). Not saying that she deserved it, because no one deserves a broken home, but I feel like there’s a lot more too it than just Swizz and Alicia’s affair. Because Alicia started getting comfortable real quick, starting from that birthday party she threw at the Guggenheim for him.
This whole thing is similar to the Brangelina/Jennifer Aniston thing. Complicated…

Please stop wasting your time trying to make Info understand how this entire situation is wrong. She is either one (or all) of these three things:
-A starstruck suck up
- One of those chicks that will sleep with a married man and not give a ..
- fancies herself to be one of their real friends sticking up for them(yeah right)
And oh yeah, Info, I was in the car the other night listening to Flex and my friends and I have come to the conclusion that you let Flex gas you up to talk gully on the radio. Don’t let him keep putting the battery in your back because he will not always be there to protect you in the streets, Misses I think I am hood, lol.

yup, I am superthugged out. that is exactly the image I portray. also, I hang out by the tuxedo rental to pick up men returning their wedding outfits. also, I’m totally in awe of swalicia.
Thank god Flex walks me to Starbucks every morning.

I agree. I wasn’t trying to say that was a bad thing. It’s just the instances where a moderator is discouraging differing opinions without really adding anything to the discussion that are a turn off.
But it’s not my website so who cares what I say. She can post whatever she wants.
