Surprise surprise…Akon’s “victim” is not so innocent

well I’m really only including this because we’ve discussed this incident as it has evolved over the past couple weeks….so we might as well keep going for consistency’s sake. But here’s the deal…
You remember that episode between Akon and the 14 year old pastor’s daughter in Trinidad? If not then you can refresh your memory here. Well, with all the outrage and the hype about Akon’s onstage dry humping session, the Prime Minister of Trinidad wanted to tar and feather the African chorus-king, and even Verizon got jumpy and pulled their tour sponsorship dollars. So Akon was forced to release an apology statement that went like this:
“I want to sincerely apologize for the embarrassment and any pain I’ve caused to the young woman who joined me onstage, her family and the Trinidad community for the events at my concert,” Akon said.
“It was never my intention to embarrass or take advantage of my fans in any way, especially those under the age of 18. That is why we tried to make sure that the club did not admit anyone under 18 in the audience,” he said. “Somehow, that standard was not met.”
Well….well…well…what do we have here…that “poor, innocent, victimized” 14-year-old gal has a myspace page?
And um, in addition to lying on her page and saying that she’s 19 yrs old…Missy doesnt look so innocent in these pics….

Can’t say I’m surprised by this. Everyone just jumped on Akon’s back, however, I’m sure he wouldn’t have R. Kellyed onstage with her had he known her real age. I think all the blame is shifted on Akon instead of on her preacher father and the owner/operators of that club. Weather or not you approve of the dry humping is irrelevent.

First of all I feel bad for Akon because I’m sure he did’nt see this coming nor intended for it to happen…This young lady’s father needs to get a grip because his daughter is really showing her true colors: she’s a little fast hot behind little girl and it’s coming to light now, so let me see how her dad is gonna defend these pics. I’m Trinidadian and it’s not right how the country is trying to come down on this young man for what happened because this pastor is adding fuel to the fire, she should’nt have been at that club in the first place. Her parents are’nt doing thier job, thier ashamed so why not take the heat off of themselves and blame Akon. They should be ashamed of themselves.
