Kanye West’s Waves album is now less than two weeks away. After a much-publicized back-and-forth with Wiz Khalifa earlier this week, the rapper/producer/designer appears to be reaching out to a higher power for his new album. 2 Chainz took to Instagram on Friday night (Jan. 29) posting a photo in studio with Kanye, Mike Dean, A$AP Mob’s A$AP Bari, and…Kirk Franklin.

The gospel artist posed alongside Kanye in the group photo, with no additional details mentioned by 2 Chainz. Could Waves actually turn out to be a gospel album? In the midst of his Twitter beef with Khalifa, Kanye mentioned his long-awaited solo effort is a gospel album, though many fans took it as a joke.

This album is actually a Gospel album,” tweeted Yeezus to his 18 million followers. Just last week, Kanye posted photos in studio with Kendrick Lamar, Swizz Beatz, CyHi The Prynce, and more.
