With Kanye West dropping the first single off the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album in “Mercy,” many fans are curious to see if the G.O.O.D. Friday weekly series returns. Here’s a candid shot from a studio session earlier this morning that includes Kanye, Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Mos Def, Busta Rhymes, and DJ Khaled. Also in the session were producers Hit-Boy and The Legendary Traxster. It’s also interesting that all these artists have new projects on the way this year.
View another shot after the jump….

This only means one thing to me. A Fat Joe hit single is coming sooner than later. He managed to infiltrate another another camp. How many one-wonder hits can a man have. Well ask Fat Joe.

Fat Joe has been dope. Way before Darkside, his early albums were hella dope. He’s not only got my respect, but also the great DJ Premier. DJ Khaled keeps dropping hits. And now these dudes are in the studio with Kanye. Is that cause their wack? Does Kanye work with wack artists? I don’t think so. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but I think its gotten too popular to just hate on Fat Joe. That dude has been in the game a while and he can spit. DJ Khaled, yes although annoying sometimes, makes hits. So hate on that

Understand that Joe is one of the few hip hop artist to have been doing it since the early 90′s. From the Flow Joe days, to being apart of D.I.T.C crew, up until Darkside. Lyrically he by far holds his own! Regardless of how he handled himself after Pun’s passing. As an artist, he’s paid his dues.
Glad to see Mos. Real Hip Hop is in the building!

am I the only one who thinks Khaled shouldn’t be in the photo… I see some of raps greats in there … then a side line dj who screams a lot and put together some nice collaborations …
but he throws off the image to me

While I’m not a major Fat Joe fan, I have to respect the longevity and multiple hits. That dude has a well taken care of family, which demonstrates his business acumen and hustle. Props to you Joe. Haters that live at home past 21 don’t respect grown man shit. When you buy that mansion that JOE has down in Miami, then talk shit about how wack he is.
