“Beyonce Knowles and longtime beau Jay-Z have taken out a marriage license in Scarsdale, N.Y., PEOPLE has learned.
According to a source, the pair took out a license on Tuesday morning. The document is valid for 60 days.
A rep for Beyoncé told PEOPLE, “No comment.” Jay-Z’s spokesperson could not be reached for comment. “
Oh my god! They have 60 days to start doing exactly the same thing that they’ve been doing for the past 6 years!!!

(but on a serious note: i actually think its really nice how they’re managed to keep their relationship fresh and very committed after all this time. definitely not easy)

There’s more! “Beyoncé and Jay-Z arrived at Scarsdale Village Hall shortly after it opened at 9 a.m on Tuesday to get their marriage license. “It was just the two of them,” an eyewitness tells PEOPLE. “They were very polite and smiling as they filled out the paperwork. They were holding hands for a while. They looked really happy.”

I wonder why they are rushing to get married now…I mean Jay-Z has a concert tonight and Saturday, they can’t even honeymoon…shoot might as well wait until after the tour and do it up for the summer…they’ve waited this long…4 more years and they would be in a common law marriage…
