Lifting its hook from Nas’ “Life’s a Bitch,” “Carry On” pairs Joey Bada$$’s nostalgic flavor with the gully rhymes of Freddie Gibbs over thumping production, which features some wicked fluttering horns.

Available to purchase on iTunes, “Carry On” is the first single from Statik’s upcoming sixth album, What Goes Around, out August 19.
