More often than not, Snoop Dogg shares some pretty incredible stories on his GGN show. In the latest episode, where he’s joined by Big Sean, the O.G. recalls the time his homeboys almost shot Nas (no, seriously). As the story goes, Snoop was gambling on the street in L.A. around ’93, when a guy in a red tracksuit jumped out of a van and ran towards them. His boys reached for their guns until Snoop realized it was the Queensbridge MC who, as it turns out, was only looking to dap him up. “Ni**a, I love you too, but lemme tell you this: any other ni**a you love in L.A., you better see that ni**a in a hotel or at a concert ’cause jumping out in the streets is not safe,” Snoop joked to Nas afterwards.
Meanwhile, Big Sean spoke on his storied first meeting with Kanye West, how his “A$$” hit came about, his approach to his sophomore album (he’s bringing in new producers and going deeper into concept of a young player from Detroit) and hotel smoking etiquette 101.
Watch the GGN episode, plus Snoop’s new interview with DJ Skee in which he addresses his recent reconciliation with Suge Knight, after the jump…
Time heels all wounds. And then being a bigger man. And being one who accepts responsibility, being right or wrong. I like saving lives, I don’t like taking lives. If that means putting my hand out saying I’m wrong, I apologize and be cool, I’ll do that. As opposed to me pulling a gun out…and me doing something vicious to you.
