SMH: Frankie says daughter Keyshia Cole is already married (so, she won’t give birth to a “bastard”) (UPDATED)

I know I’ve been entertained endlessly by Keyshia Cole’s mom’s “kookiness” in the past, but seriously, I just can’t believe how ridiculous she acts.
Ms. Frankie called in to Ryan Cameron’s V103 radio show and shared all the dish on her daughter’s secret shotgun marriage to NBA player/baby-daddy-to-be Daniel Boobie Gibson. Love? Romance? No…lets make sure we tie the knot before I give birth to our lovechild, so that he’s not a “bastard.” WTF? What century is this? (spotted on Freddyo’s site)
Also…grandmom’s who crack “deeznuts” jokes? hmm. should not be within 100yards of any schoolyard.

UPDATE: Keyshia released a statement confirming that she has no time for Frankie’s crazytown…
“To all my friends and fans – It’s time that I clear the air,” she wrote in a statement. “It’s not a secret that I haven’t been in contact with my mother Frankie, and my sisters Neffe and Elite*, and I never wanted to air out our differences to the public. While I won’t go into detail here I find it necessary to let you guys know I decided to stop communication with them because I was at a point in my life where I needed serenity and peace to move forward. …You guys are a witness to a lot of what was happening from watching on air and online. Now that I am becoming a mom my passion for having a loving and peaceful home for my child is my #1 priority. The stress that my family is giving me with their constant false reports is not healthy and it’s not what I need at this time in my life. Info, I digs ya point! She is just foolish and needs help BUT at the same time Keyshia didn’t have to give her mother and sister this massive platform to make her look bad… I would not blame her for riding out with the family who raised her and kicking those bum ass niggas to the curve… Maybe she gave them all of that so she could be able to say she tried before moving on… I hope she learning that she cant fight for people who wont fight for themselves!!

I know we have no choice in who gives birth to us…but Frankie is the type of mother who should have never been publicly ackowledged ! If I was Keyshia…I would have to love Frankie from a far! I think it is so sad that after abandoning Keyshia for years that she is still doing her more harm although Keyshia tried to show her unconditional love! SMDH @ Frankie!!!!

YEA YOU RIGHT BUT DONT YOU SEE KEISH IS NEVER REALY AROUND THEM …The only reason it happen cause like flavor flav people are fascinated with retards ( no disrespect to handicaps- but these people define that) Flavor flav and Bridget nelson was on a reality show , the got such negative feed backs as well as interesting one so the producers seen an opportunity to make money…as well as keisha’s mom and sis their arent interesting their just entertainment

I mean i don’t like keyshia cole as artist cause she sounds like mary j blige back up. But how in the fuck is keyshia related to this crackhead? No, seriously cause keyshia seems like she is the only one in her family with a good head on shoulders. Her sister a ghetto ass alcoholic bitch , her moms acts like she still fucking with yayo i mean what the fuck!?

Noticed alot of people talking about how Key is doing it the right way but really is it the right way? If what Frankie is saying is true then wouldn’t the right way be to abstain from sex till marriage? Wouldn’t the right way be to utilize a condom till marriage? And I know what you’re already saying…condoms aren’t 100% effective against pregnancy. True. But let’s be real, Key and Dan were exercising their boyfriend/girlfriend no condom rule or the sometimes we use it/sometimes we don’t rule and they just got caught out there with the pregnancy. I think we can all agree that if the basis of the marriage is on making sure the child isn’t a bastard and the parents not being in love with one another and wanting to spend the rest of their lives with each other then we will be talking about their divorce within 2-5 years. Can’t have premarital sex, sex without a condom or birth control and then all of a sudden say OK now I want to do it the right way. And the right way according to whom?
And all of this Frankie backlash… Let’s get some things clear…when Keyshia isn’t singing, she’s not the most interesting person. No one forced Keyshia to open up and invite the world into her personal life and introduce us to Frankie and her family. That was entirely her decision because she knew that people would be interested in her mother and would tune in to her reality show. If Frankie had some sort of talent that we could latch ourselves onto then she could be a female equivalent of ODB.

Of course she was an E.P for the show. They wanted Keyshia’s cosign to make it hoping she’d be more involved but she aint actually have much of anything to do with the show.
It was basically here’s something to get ya’ll some money do what you can with it I’ll be waaaay over here.

FRANKIE is obviously wacky. A lil annoyed at your “what century is this?” line MISS INFO. It will never be acceptable to me to have kids outside of marriage. I dont care how many women are dumb enough to trade their bodies and lifestyle, for no security or legal protections that marriage offers. Did I mention the love, support, stability, and the maturity that your much more likely to find in a guy who is willing to step up to the plate? Also, can anyone tell me why sucessful women still do the kids b-4 or even instead of marriage deal, when they obviously have better choices and opportunities? I mean really. Birth control options for women are so easy and plentiful that is their really any such thing as a accident anymore?

You can’t be annoyed at Info’s comment about “what century is this” because she is responding to Frankie’s comments about Keyshia getting married because of the child. If we are to believe Frankie then we know that getting married because you don’t want your child to be a bastard and not because you are in love with your partner and are looking to spend and share the rest of your life with them is a recipe for disaster. Of course we don’t know if she and Daniel are indeed in love but based on what Frankie said, baby on the way was the main reason for marriage. When the kids are grown and out of the house it’s just you and your partner in the house with no kid to focus on. Now what? There was a time in this country where females didn’t have as many opportunities as they do now and getting married to a successful man was looked at as a only option of having a fulfilling life. Plenty of women suffered in silence in loveless marriages, even sleeping in different beds. Obviously Key doesn’t need Daniel’s help financially. And there are no guarantees when it comes to marriage. You can only hope and believe that you and the person you are married to are committed to making the relationship work but again that is the hope and the belief. There are no guarantees. They may have decided to work on having a child together, we don’t know. The child will have 2 loving parents who can give that child just about anything that child could ever want so I don’t see the child losing out on anything. The only thing that could cause the child any kind of emotional scar is if the parents got married just for him and not realize that they are also committing to each other for life. Then that foundation that a couple needs to stay the course could come crumbling down turning the 2 parent household into a 1 parent household. I don’t think that all of the women that decide to “trade their bodies and lifestyle” to have a child are dumb because they didn’t decide to marry the person that got them pregnant. Sometimes marriage just isn’t the solution but will add more problems, especially if the parents never really discussed marriage in the first place. You can only hope and believe that the person you marry is committed to making the relationship work but sometimes you find out during the marriage that just isn’t the case. So there are no guarantees when it comes to marriage, especially in this day and age of shotgun weddings and divorce rate at an all time high. For many being a parent is extremely expensive and is the focal point of many parental relationships. There are many cases of single women raising children that are productive members of society. Interested in knowing what are the better choices and opportunities for these successful women that you are talking about. And when it comes to birth control and women, some of the drug options tend to have side effects that don’t agree with many women and the choice of abortion isn’t on the table for many women due to religious beliefs and the potential damage to the reproductive system. And then you take passion, love, lust, desire and intensity and put them all in a blender and mix it up sometimes things tend to happen. And with most relationships, couples tend to use condoms less and less and the relationship progresses as trust grows and grows so that in itself is a slippery slope.

Getting married for the kid is a recipe for disaster if you care more about yourself then your kid. The ‘jumpoff’ you were just fucking is ‘mom’ to your kid. The ‘nigga’ u was just getting d**k from is dad to your daughter. What are you telling your kid when u split? Birth control is easy, so there is no excuse to get anyone pregnant. What century is this? A women can get a depo shot every 3 months, fuck all she wants, and never worry about pregnancy. Whats up with all these future welfare recipients (80% of all children black & born out of wedlock) being created “by choice”?

This really ain’t about being high and mighty. It’s being an adult dealing with whats best for her.
As it stands K.Coles isn’t married so that would mean her mom, who was subsequently banned from the station for being drunk, is making false public statements. That alone warrants the reply that Keyshia made.
Yeah in hindsight we could say why’d she give them a “platform” to act out but how about this maybe she actually felt that her family would actually be able to be mature. So we can fault her for having too much trust in her people as well.
