Smells like fear…..Rkelly kicks Neyo of his tour
Posted by Miss Info under beef , concerts , quotes[15] Comments

So, Keyshia Cole can pitch fits, but Neyo steals the show and gets the boot. This from the guy who used his eagle-eye to spy a gun in row KK-302 of Madison Square Garden….and the guy who dipped early from a show to take over the drive-thru at a local Burger King.
UPDATE: according to Carl at BET, Neyo says:
“Let them tell it, I was removed from the R. Kelly tour because of contractual agreements not being met, but that’s absolutely false,”“I believe it was because the first few reviews of the show, people were talking more about my set than his and I don’t think he liked that too much,” said Ne-Yo. So will he be spraying R. Kelly down with a can of mase the next time they run into each other? He laughs, “Nah, Nah. I’m gonna keep doing what I do, because it’s obvious that’s what was hurting him.”
Here’s Neyo’s press release about what probably is the best thing for him in the long run, lol…
“Yesterday, Shaffer Smith aka Ne-Yo was informed that he was being dropped from the rest of the R Kelly tour after delivering two sensational performances. Entertainment reporters, music critics, bloggers, fans, and concert goers all agreed that Ne-Yo’s performances brought the heat; but maybe it brought too much heat. . . The fans were really feeling his performances. He’s good; maybe he’s too good – that’s the problem.
It seems like déjà vu – didn’t R Kelly have drama on his last tour. R Kelly’s camp sited the lack of a signed contract as the reason for removing Ne-Yo from the line up.
“I don’t understand their actions because I was rehearsing, doing media, promoting the tour, and performing, said Ne-Yo. In my opinion, I was doing everything possible to make the tour a success. I love being on stage in front of fans because of the immediate feedback you get. You know right away if they are feeling you; and they were really feeling our show.”
Ne-Yo expressed genuine concern regarding not having the opportunity to complete the tour. He wanted all of his fans and supporters to be able to see him live. “To my fans and ticket holders – I apologize if you are disappointed.”
hmmm…

You know whts funny with this either any way you put it R.Kelly is the bad guy on this one. @ bluedimondphillips you are right everything R.Kelly comes out with is a hit but does that mean he had to get rid of the next R.Kelly. I mean check the stats Ne-yo rights hits, R.Kelly used to write hits. Ne-yo makes great music, R.kelly used to make great music. Ne-yo writes for everyone from Beyonce to Cris Brown, R.Kelly wrote for everyone from Alayah to Usher. Face it R.Kelly doesnt like comp and Ne-Yo proved he is def going to be the top of the R&B food chain real soon. Oh and if it was a contract that wasn’t signed they could have just asked him to sign. The only other thing I can think of is Keisha crept in to Kellz trailer did a favor and got rid of Ne-Yo. I am telling you the music game is all bout politics. To all that are reading this and are an up and coming make sure you make connections or you will never get heard.
@ info do you think that by losing Ne-Yo and the reason why he is gone that it will hurt the tour and the overall perception of R.Kelly now???

Kellz is a broad, real talk… hit-writer yeah, but his star is quickly fading…
1st Jigga, then he bounced on Baby from CMR (understandable a lil, but how he did it was wack) and now hating on the New Jacks…
Keep being fly Yo’ – Kellz can’t hold you back, son!

R.Kelly & Ne-Yo are two great performers, artist, song writers, and entertainers. Before jumping the gun and making false accusations, let’s dig for facts. There’s always 2 sides to every story. R.Kelly has his point of view and Neyo has his point of view. At the end of the day, they are both talented individuals.

Was it R. Kelly or the promoter? I went to stop in Atlanta and though Neyo was good for his 40 minute set, Kells was off the chain for his 2 1/2 hours. Anyone who went knows that Kells had a standing audience while everyone sat during Neyo’s. It was no competition. Heck Neyo even said “Are ya ready for the Champ to come out?” after he performed his last song. Either way ppl are going to think R. Kelly is the bad guy and comment on his personal situation. Holla at the promoter who draws up the contract not Kells.

Damn, everybody hates R. Kelly… even Wayne was dissin him callin him a liar. Jay-Z, Ne-Yo, his own brother that is a crazy rapper too, claims R. Kelly is tryna squash his career because of what he knows.
