They taut themselves as the best artist, most creative, lyrical etc well they have to get on something like this and body it..
It was a decent effort but I just dont like Swizzy anymore, his production is lame to me.. It doesnt have the same feel it once did..

im with you bro. im on a 100% hate swizz beatz campaign.hes ruining alicia keys with his crappy beats.
on another note i dont mind this one so much. i think it could grow on me. its not better than their first album thou. in terms of beats they had great ones that allowed there lyrical skills to shine on the first one. the beats they for the second one have been the exact opposite. its like they are struggling to get the lyrics across.

Bar Exam had loads of music about killing people. You had no moral issue with killing people, but you have a problem with overspending?

In their own words The whole point of Slaughterhouse is the “underdog” title. The Hunger to spit bar after bar. So if killing people reflects the environment they from or their mind state then I’m all for that expression. That what hip hop is, no scratch that, WAS. If I wana hear bout throwing money I’ll listen to Waka or Rawse! But fuck outa if slaughterhouse is turning into hip hops BACKSTREET BOYS

I see you listed Mood Music first, which was mostly introspective songs, and this was Joey’s worst verse recently by far, so if you’re mainly a Joe fan, I see your disappointment. Crook killed it though. Royce didn’t have any razor sharp lines, I think he was focusing too hard on not cursing LMAO. I think I have to change my order on third listen.
Crooked
Joell
Royce
Joe
“i told her to do what i like and she ain’t do it/that was my bad thinking that she ain’t stupid” <– he thought she would do what he likes because she's smart? wtf? he's got a weird concept of intelligence. lmao.

the song isnt that bad. i hated that my life song but its one of those typical radio joints that can grow on you. this one might be the same.
yo swizz beatz, stay in this lane… leave your wife to ryan leslie and other like minded individuals that produce that hip-hop feel while staying true to an artists R&B roots

I think we need to understand that true Hip Hop has been compromised. In order for your fave rapper to get real cake in this industry (today) artists have to compromise themselves in some way, they all do it (thes days). the demographic that actually buy records these days or that the label cater too don’t actually want that real hip hop they want that YMCMB type crap, easy to digest nonsense. but lets not get confused these guys can still spit they are just watering down to appeal to a wider audience IMO. when i think about it I’m not even mad; its just how it goes. lets just hope they put out something every now and again for the die hards out there.
