New Music: Skylar Grey Feat. Eminem “C’mon Let Me Ride”

Skylar Grey is back with a new look and ready to hit the airwaves in 2013 with a bang. The singer/songwriter hit radio on Tuesday morning to debut her single “C’mon Let Me Ride,” the Alex Da Kid-produced cut from her forthcoming Don’t Look Down debut album. Eminem, who is featured on the song which samples of Queen’s 1970s hit “Bicycle Race,” is executive producing the project due next year. The two recently filmed a video for their collaboration in Detroit. You can purchase the song on iTunes December 11.

Not my cup of tea. It seems like a step down vocally for her, and the track sounds like something from Avril Lavigne… so it could do well as a commercial pop track I guess.
