skepta konnichiwa

Skepta’s long-awaited album Konnichiwa finally has a release date. The UK Grime don took to Instagram today to announce his forthcoming project is dropping on May 6. He also shared what appears to be the album artwork, although we’ll have to stay patient to get a look at the tracklisting, which may or may not include the names Drake and Kanye West. Konnichiwa will serve as Skepta’s first full-length in four years following his 2012 mixtape Blacklisted.

Skepta has also announced the No Fear Tour, a 10-city North American trek that hits L.A., San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and New York between April and May.

UPDATE (4/14): Check out the Konnichiwa tracklisting below. Judging by that OVO owl scribbled on “Shutdown,” it looks like we might be seeing Drake on Skepta’s album after all.

UPDATE (4/15): Konnichiwa is now available to pre-order on iTunes. The album features appearances from Pharrell, Wiley, JME, Novelist, D Double E, Chip, BBK, A$AP Nast and A$AP Bari (aka Yung Lord). No sign of a Drake “Shutdown” remix, unless Skepta’s got a surprise up his sleeve.
