It’s really not about being sensitive. Sure everyone’s allowed to voice their opinion, but Scarface’s statement is not very intelligent. If you wanna play the race game, then why not put some of the blame on the supposedly black listeners not going out to cop that real hiphop? Pulling the race card is a sure way to create an endless discussion and an endless blame game that in the end mean nothing.

On the real I think the whole issue of race is problematic in rap. I mean, I love Cube but it’s hard to defend a song like ”Cave Bitch”. Racism and prejudice is wrong and dispicable regardless if its white on black, black on asian, or hispanics on middle easterns.

IMHO… the problem ain’t Soulja Boy, on the business side he is a model for other young teens and adults; it doesn’t mean i agree with even half of what he does!

The game just lacks balance right now and the artists who do bring about balance don’t sell because we SO CALLED TRUE HIP HOP HEADS don’t buy music… so the artists starve while Lil Wayne (whom every real hip hop fan supposedly hates) sells 1 mil in 7.
