one of the things that made you love the wu was the collage of styles they put on a record… ironically the game is in a real simplistic format and only the ole` heads are really tryin to do the science.( at 34 I`ma ole` head)…

ths lean wit it` rock wit it` new jacks are unfortunately who are defining the culture so a really complex album will be a dud because their ain enuff os uf who are gonna go cop the album…

the wu is like 5-6 members so even a platinum album aint really any dough, if they getting $2 an albumd that is still less than $.35 per album person before fees, chargd backs etc….

they could go plat and only get $100 stacks each from the album… they better get started touring real STRONG….

I wonder if we should just automatically believe RZA when he says everything is OK with Raekwon (& Ghost?). From the little bit I’ve heard of Big Doe Rehab, it sounds like a pretty good but safe & familiar record from Ghost…meaning, it invites comparisons. People forget 36 Chambers was strange as shit in 1993! & it took so long for Forever to be acknowledged. The W was panned even harder & there is quite a bit of exceptional music on that record, which it’s finally becoming somewhat regular to admit.

People who have been following the RZA with pleasure throughout his career have just been delivered the Wu-Tang record they’ve been waiting for. People who insist only on the first round of albums will have to continue to wait, as they should. But after all, maybe Cuban Linx 2 will actually drop sometime, & perhaps fill that void.

Maybe they should all get together over one of their houses and just talk it out.Just go around the table asking questions and giving opinions.Sure 1 or 2 arguments will break out maybe even a fist fight,but in the end they will all be on one page.If only it was that simple right?

Peace My thing is growth has accured since the birht and that growth should be spoken aboutin the circle of the family and reflected at the table when the food is discussed and in the end results we all will see the growth of a group growing together induring change mentally as well as phycially adapting to the new music enviroment and taking control of its future. Rae please keep this in mind truth out of season wont be successful.

I don’t think its RZA that is withholding money from them, maybe it’s his brother, Divine, b/c I heard Meth, Cappadonna, and GFK on interviews talking about Divine. Also, True Master was suing him thats why Power slapped him @ last year’s VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

I don’t know man this joint is disappointing (think thats how to spell it).Take it back, campfire, rushing elephants, sunlight, 16th chamber, thats it. yeah I just dont know, I wanna believe RZA, I mean There isnt too much that he’s done that I dont like, but the new album is not that good to me, Im kinda feeling Rae here, I was hoping and waiting for this album to come out, it seems like it maybe a let down. @ YBD,wack ass Ghost Dog soundtrack are you kidding me??? I know the Big doe Rehab is gonna be chronic, also if the cuban linx 2 album is done, lets hear it, I mean damn, how long we gotta wait for shit, I know the wu has always been late on shit, but damn, I feel like I’ve heard about it for years now. I guess Im just a fan that wants to hear good music again.

when I first heard there were creative differences via Rae`s interview it really explained why the songs from the 8 diagrams album seemed to be sub-par; to me the 3 songs I heard sounded like some joints from one of those Wu-affiliates, not the album that would thrust the clan back onto the forefront of the game…

as I listened to Rae as much as it hurt to see the Clan having major differences I couldn`t help but side with him; having loved and studied Rza`s style since day 1, I am well aware of Rza`s ability to go into left field, not that it was wack but when you trying to do numbers in this downloading. hard to sell records, snap ya finger then lean wit` it environment this album could barely go plat…

and NO, it aint ALL about the sales but even as fans we have to respect that these dudes ALL got multiple seeds, mortgages and a certain quality of life to maintain! that said;bring on shaolin vs. the wu

RZA Is doing what DRE did for “The Chronic 2001″‘ where he re invented his sound and showed his growth as super producer, but this guys constantly want this dude to keep giving you the same and then watch you fail… I say not to that, open your mind and ears to this album and you prob understand how good this album is.

This album is fire, the more i listen to it, the more I’m feeling it, this is def the album I’ve been waiting from wu to drop after FOREVER…

BTW:This is why i think Rae should STFU.. That ice water album was complete ass, and that’s coming from a wu fan
