K.. so uhm just cuz a rapper is famouse dont make him honest OR smart. It just makes him rich. How many inventions out there do u think were actually made by the ppl that hold the patents and not stolen by ppl that had the money to make the thing materialize faster? Id say close to none but thanks for playing.
BTW – its kinda a oxymoron to be bickering about a hip hop star on the internet on an obselete webpage

HE TELLS A STORY OF HOW WHAT HE SAW THE GUY HAVE IN SWITZERLAND, IS WHAT HE ALSO HAD AS WELL. THE GUY IN SWITZERLAND HAD MANY COMPONENTS PUT TOGETHER TO MAKE WHAT THE RZA HAD IN ONE MACHINE….HE JUST SAID HE AND THE GUY DESIGNED IT. THEY TOOK IT TO BIG BUSINESS(BIG BIZ THOUGHT THERE WAS NO MARKET FOR THIS PRODUCT), AND IT GOT STOLEN THROUGH RED TAPE/INDUSTRY WAYS. SO HE DID INVENT/OR HELP INVENT, AND HE DID INVEST IN IT. AND I GUESS BY SOMEBODY POINTING OUT THAT THE RZA STUTTERED WHILE TALKING, COULD IMPLY THAT THE RZA IS LYING??? IS THAT WHAT YOU’RE TRYING TO SAY???

RZA says he INVENTED serato and then goes on to explain that he met a dude in switzerland with all the gear set up. Doesn’t that mean the guy in switzerland invented it? (listen to how many times rza says ‘he’ whilst explaining the way it was set up) and then rza stutters that he invested $200000 into this guys invention.. doesn’t that make him a financial investor??

RZA is still a genius.. but not the ‘INVENTOR’ of serato just an early investor in the technology, which deserves some recognition i guess

Capitalism is both beautiful and crazy at the same time. I think instead of him trying to bring the product to market himself maybe he shoulda pitched the idea of it, sold everything to a bigger company and secured a small profit sharing agreement….

But hey HINDSIGHT is 20/20….this was 1997-2000 and I commend RZA for even having the forsight to invest money into things like this rather than just copping Bentley’s and sh*t. RZA is really a genius and I think he will be doing great things behind the scenes for like the next 30+ years (On some Quincy Jones sh*t).

RZA is a good and honest dude. Jamie Summers lives on my block and has a child with him and he takes care of his 100% — I believe the story, most gear is invented someone out of left field and produced by the huge companies. plus he said a few names that can vouch that he saw the machine. he never looked away and told the story str8 up.
