RZA Decodes Wu-Tang Classic: “Protect Ya Neck” (Video)

The latest Decoded video from Life + Times really caught my attention this morning. They sat down with the RZA to decode the Bobby Digital classic “Unspoken Word” and Wu-Tang’s “Protect Ya Neck.” It’s crazy to hear RZA break down the song Wu first set it off with after all this time. My only hope is that the Clan pulls it all together for their upcoming 20th anniversary.

RZA needs to restart that Wu movement with some new young rappers. It’d be interesting to see what he could do with some hungry youngins

Now that would be some shit…if could recreate that energy with some new hungry cats…thats a great idea..I just would hope that he wouldnt call it Wu-Tang but rather have some derivative name of the Wu… That would be exciting to watch.

that will not work… the whole Wu has lost the sound they were famour for many many years ago, i would say around Wu-Tang Forever album… RZA evolved as a musician and now he is doing completely different things musically…
