Royce da 5′9″ confirms Slaughterhouse is in talks with Shady Records (Inf ain’t lie; )

Last week, I mention that Slaughterhouse and Eminem were working on a contract for the group on Shady….and voila:
Royce tells MTV News: “I’ve been talking to Em and Paul for a long time,” Royce added. “With this particular situation, things are falling into place. Everything is in place where it’s supposed to be. I’m very prepared [for] when the opportunity presented itself. It’s a time where there’s things they need over here and certain things we need in order to move over there. I think it’s a good marriage. Like I said, I just hope it can happen.”
still good for hiphop.

this is a bad idea this just sets up for each member of slaughterhouse to relive the experience of when they knew their album wasn’t coming out

Welp… Tahiry sure did pick a fine time to leave Mouse. Nonetheless I hope this is a good look. Shady hasn’t had the best luck with artists under his imprint… Bobby Creekwater, Cashis come 2 mind.

I think this would be great for slaughterhouse. Going to Shady Records would mean much better production and promotion.

Slaughterhouse to shady means dope as hell leaks over the best production…followed by ill mixtapes…and no 2nd album…mouse gonna deal with same shit he did with Growth, Royce and Em beef again? Crooked in same spot as he was on Death Row, Joel back where he just left…sounds kinda bitter sweet…what stat quo?! Oh and if they help write detox I may get hype for that…

I’ve been listening to “Escape Route” Joe Budden’s album/mixtape. Seems to have a similar subject matter as Eminem to an extent, so creatively I’m interested to see what they can do.
And no I did not say Joe Budden is as good on the mic as Eminem, they just seem to have mental issues on records.
Padded Room, Escape Route,…Relapse ya dig?

There’s good and bad to this.
Hopefully they keep their raw hunger.
Hopefully they can get exposure w/o going “pop”.
Hopefully they can get paid!
