This is a bit left-of-center, but I like this rendition of LL’s classic “Mama Said Knock You Out” that the StreetSweeper Social Club recorded for their GhettoBlaster EP. Streetsweeper is the combination of Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello and The Coup’s Boots Riley…and together they’ll be performing along with Snoop, Lauryn Hill, Tribe et al. on the Rock the Bells tour (see dates).
