Roc-A-Fella Records Reunite For One Night in NYC

The Roc was in the building on Wednesday night at New York City’s Gramercy Theater. Dubbed the “Roc-A-Fella Reunion Concert,” the show didn’t feature some of the labels flagship names as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Beanie Sigel, Cam’ron, and Dame Dash weren’t present. The sold-out event was still a success as Freeway, Memphis Bleek, the Young Gunz, and Peedi Crakk held down the night. Backed by Just Blaze and Young Guru, the show was a trip down memory lane as classics from the storied label’s catalogue were performed throughout the night. Mos Def made a guest appearance during Freeway’s set for “Two Words,” while N.O.R.E. joined Peedi Crakk for “Superthug.” RealTalkNY was on hand and captured most of the highlights from last night.

just cause he didnt get on stage dont mean he wasnt in the building.. his presence on stage couldve over shadowed everything they trynna do.. this is not a one time show.. its a tour they testing out to see if it would work.. Live nation is in talk with them to make it worldwide tour.. so its better for them that ye and jay didnt show up..

I think Jay is laying in the cut making sure they’re serious before he comes out. Don’t be surprised if he pops up on stage with them within the next 365.

Who cares if Jay shows up! Let’s get back to rap and leave the celebrity drama to info.
That circa 2000 look was hard. In the classless music we love, what a classy move by Free with Bean’s son. I’m sure Sig’s will take that gift for Id, that was dope!

These old school, 90′s rappers trying to hold on. Times is hard.. its the ROC! I’m about to pull out the roca wear, with the fitted and the chain.. I’m driving about brooklyn, playing “is that your chick”.. aww man.
