Robin Thicke isn’t backing down without a fight. The R&B singer is set to win Paula Patton back on music’s biggest stage, the 2014 Billboard Music Awards this weekend. Performing at this year’s show, airing live from Las Vegas on Sunday night, the 37-year-old will debut the song “Get Her Back,” dedicated to his estranged wife.

“All I wanna do is make it right,” sings Thicke. “I gotta get her, go get her back/ I gotta treat her right/ I gotta cherish her for life,” he continues at another point in the song. In another lyric obtained by TMZ he croons, “I should’ve kissed you longer/ I should’ve held you stronger/ And I’ll wait for forever for you.”
Tune in to the 2014 Billboard Music Awards at 8 p.m. EST on Sunday night on ABC to see the performance. Thicke joins Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, and Miley Cyrus as some of the artist who will hit the stage. This year’s event will be hosted by Ludacris.
