Robin Thicke’s hit record “Blurred Lines” sits comfortably at No. 1 for an eighth straight week. To promote his new album, Thicke stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon‘s “Music Room” to perform his summer smash. Instead of his usual setup, Robin, Jimmy Fallon, and The Roots picked up elementary school instruments and rocked out.

As the R&B singer lead with the vocals and spoons, Black Thought held down the maraca, Questlove controlled the wooden clacker, and Fallon held double-duty with a wood block and Casio keyboard. Out now on iTunes, you can stream Robin Thicke’s album in its entirety here.
