“West” is the first collaboration between producer/singer River Tiber, who was actually sampled on If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, and fellow Toronto crooner Daniel Caesar that dropped earlier this year. And even though the song is an obvious ode to escaping to the West Coast, you can’t help but feel like it’s the kind of delicate, summer-ready slow jam that VIEWS was lacking. Anyway, Tiber and Caesar just dropped the video for “West,” which features VHS-style footage from the pair’s L.A. and Las Vegas adventures, and just enough shots of the California sunset for added poignancy. The track will appear on River Tiber’s debut album Indigo, due out this summer.
