Some old Young Angel, Drizzy, Drake, Drizzy Drake Rogers, Jimmy, whatever you feel comfortable calling him. This is an old track during the recording of the Comeback Season Mixtape. Drake was a fan of Tanya Morgan and Von was also a fan of his (everyone that knows me, knows I’m always putting on for the city and sending everyone not from the Dot songs from artists I’m down with) so I linked them together. We couldn’t get them all in the same studio in time, so the quality of the song wasn’t great when D was putting it together with 40 for the mixtape. It eventually got scrapped, and he used his verses on another beat. Ah well. This is only 1 of 3 joints i got with them. Ha! BTW this was put together with just the references (thanks to Aeon!) so we couldn’t split up Drakes verses, this ain’t no mixtape dub (ex. “I’m Goin In”) this was O-FISH-ALL. Shout out to Boi-1da on the boards!

Now I must say………based on the singles Drake has out, I think he is a very mediocre rapper. I love his voice, but lyrically…..on his singles, he’s not dope. However, this track shows he has the talent and wit to go somewhere lyrically. i hope I hear some more stuff like this.
