Shortly after performing at the 2012 Paralympics Closing Ceremonies in London with Coldplay and Jay-Z, Rihanna took to Twitter to show off some new ink. The tattoo, located just under her breasts, taps into Black History as the Egyptian figure appears to be Isis The Mother of Horus. The image pays tribute to her grandmother, Clara Braithwaite better known as “GranGran” Dolly, who passed away on July 1 after fighting a long battle with cancer. Rihanna tweeted the photo with a message saying “Goddess Isis- Complete Woman – Model for future generations- #GRANGRANDOLLY – always in and on my heart #1lo.”

Sunday night was the first-time performing with the new ink which was partially hidden under a slim red dress.

Rihanna shares another photo with her late grandmother, along with the tattoo during her performance after the jump….
