Rihanna returned to late-night show Saturday Night Live this weekend, her second appearance in 2012 as musical guest. Draped in a camoflauge army coat and classic Timberland boots, RiRi performed her new single “Diamonds.” While her first appearance was filled with images projected oddly on green screen, the pop star kept it simple returning to the stage to debut her new song “Stay.” Featuring Mikky Ekko, the passionate cut will appear on Rihanna’s seventh studio album Unapologetic, due November 19.

i like how Jamaicans dress in the summer…you know the holy tank tops and i love how acrobatic they are at parties…..leaping off trees and shit on top of the women, while the DJ encourages him to “KILLL HERRR!!!!”"”…..(bruk it up!)

I’ll take the Diamonds windows 98 version over the official video any day. Too confusing, too symbolic.

I couldn’t watch the show last night, because I was stuck working late in my office at DISH. I really wanted to see Anne Hathaway’s third appearance, but I wasn’t worried about missing the show because it’s available at DISHOnline.com the next day. I just got finished with the episode and I thought it was great. I have never been a huge fan of Rihanna, but she has a great voice. Stay is a very moving song; I think everyone’s felt that way at some point. Diamond’s is a good song too, but that green screen look’s like something from a bad Youtube video.
