Rihanna and Chris Brown’s Relationship Inspires ‘Law & Order: SVU’ Episode

Law & Order: SVU is known for its “ripped-from-the-headline” plots, but their latest episode is sure to stir up considerably more controversy than usual. Next week’s “Funny Valentine” episode depicts the violent relationship between up-and-coming singer, Micha Charles (played by Tiffany Robinson) and her abusive, hip-hop star boyfriend Caleb Brown (played by Eugene Jones); not too unlike a certain famous couple, no? Despite the attempts of Detective Benson and district attorney Barba, the singer refuses to aid the prosecution and chooses to remain with her boyfriend, leading to a “media circus.”
While Rihanna and Chris Brown recently got back together — four years after his brutal attack on her after a pre-Grammys party in 2009 — the episode unfolds slightly differently. No spoilers, though; you’ll have to wait until Wednesday, Feb. 27 when “Funny Valentine” airs on NBC.
Check out some pics and a promo clip from the episode after the jump…

Not a fan of Chris Brown but I find it crazy how people cling on to the negatives. It takes a hundred accomplishments to be labeled great but one slip up and you’re forever known by it. It was a terrible thing but it was also 4 years ago.

I don’t know of any one who condones domestic violence but Hollywood’s the last place i’ll go for any moral guidance.
Will Law & Order do a show based on a 40 something old director plying a 13 yr old girl with wine and drugs then repeatedly frontally & anally raping her – no!! Hollywood went on to give Roman Polanski an Oscar.
Will Hollywood depict a scene with a 50 something old actor beating his baby mama while she’d the baby in her arms – no Mel Gibson’s just misunderstood.
Expect the platitudes about role models = i say you either are fearless and tackle all or stunt!!! they stunting!!!

I think people need to leave them alone. Its been what over three years since the unfortunate event? If Rihanna can get past it why can’t the world.

I’m not going to justify what happen with Cbreezy physically hitting RiRi but it was terrible period. However I believe Breezy paid for it. If RiRi forgave him who are we to judge him. But the media isnt letting up on Breezy at all regardless. This ep on Law & Order was uncalled for. Whoever is in Breezy camp please pay attention because they are really after him.
