Critics have their opinions but Riff Raff has built quite a following and fan base in recent years. After signing with Diplo’s Madd Decent label in 2012, the Houston-native is readying the release of his Neon Icon album this year. During a recent show in London, Riff Raff caught up with DJ Semtex to speak on how he first linked up with Diplo, their working relationship, and who to expect on their collaborative project. The artist also known as Jody Highroller confirms Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky, Snoop Dogg, YG, Future, and Drake will make appearances.

“We got a big album coming out, the Neon Icon. Got Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky, YG, Snoop, you know I got these big names on it. You know when you’re working with somebodye [Diplo] like that, I’d rather work with a big producer who works with big artists. Future, Drake, you know what I mean so I got all these big artists on my album, it’s going to be a monumental album.”

Riff Raff ends the conversation expressing his thoughts on MTV’s “Hottest MC’s in the Game” list.
