Rick Ross Reportedly Target of Drive-By Shooting in Florida

Miami’s Local 10 and NBC Miai are reporting witnesses saw Rick Ross traveling in a Rolls Royce that was involved in a drive-by shooting in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. early this morning. Fort Lauderdale Police received calls regarding gunshots at around 5am, and arrived at the scene to find a car crashed into a building.
According to witnesses, a Rolls Royce was heading east on Las Olas when an unknown vehicle approached them and fired over a dozen shots. The driver of the Rolls Royce attempted to flee but crashed into an apartment building on 15th avenue. Police have confirmed to Huffington Post that Ross and an unidentified female were passengers in the car.
No injuries have been reported. Stay tuned as more details became available.

This is just ridiculous, I hope they find whoever is responsible for busting them shots and give the clown life!
I get that in the hood there’s all kinds of hood related laws but this is just some1 trying to make a name for themselves by shooting at Ross, only dumb fucks do that!
It’s an unfortunate incident. I don’t know if they do bullet proof vests in Ross’ size though!

PLEASE do not try & report this nonsense as some kind of tragedy averted. I never liked Pac, KNOW he was more of an actor than a thug, but he meant something to Hip Hop. Biggie meant something to Hip Hop. Both those drive-by’s were TRAGEDIES. This car crash/almost shooting is “Chickens coming home to roost”. You play the thug, you act the part, you contribute nothing to the culture of Hip Hop or to the Black community in general, you’re a C.O. who’s now a drug kingpin/pimp, you do interviews claiming you know Noriega & made drug deals with his crew & now you’re shot at. That’s called Hood Violence & your bluff being called. It is not an assassination attempt, a tragedy averted, or anything else of a sad nature. Unless you consider the waste of a perfectly good Rolls a tragedy!

If something did happen to him it would be a case of karma aka chickens coming home to roost..He’s been acting like a fake gangsta, acting big and that shits going to comeback to haunt his ass.. I still blame him for the death of Sam Ferguson the guy who broke the story of his C.O. days, many people with brains do..Reporters dont just get killed in drive-by on the freeway after reporting a story and while going to follow up on leads about that story..

Man you guys got it all wrong…he may not be a BIGGIE or a TUPAC ill give you that…but he still is influential to hip hop whether you like it or not. This guy has had 5 number one albums and classic music at that. Just calling it how I see it. You don’t have to like the guy…but you definitely have to respect him. Any loss like that is a tragedy for the Hip Hop culture either way it goes down.

A tragedy by definition is both the Greek & Latin use involving an act or literary event involving the main character in a sorrowful circumstance. In that occasion it is a tragedy because HE IS AN ACT, HE IS A PLAY, HE IS FICTION BROUGHT TO REAL LIFE. HE IS NOT REAL. HE IS AN ACT. NO ONE ON THE STREETS RESPECTS THIS GUY AS A THUG OR A CRIMINAL.
