Rick Ross is a free man. The MMG rapper-CEO has been released from jail in Fayette County, Georgia, after being arrested for assault and kidnapping. During a bond hearing on Wednesday, a judge granted Rick Ross’ release on a $2 million bond. The amount comprised of: $1 million equity from the ex-Holyfield mansion he owns, $500,000 surety bond and $500k in cold hard cash. If at any time Ross obstructs justice or intimidates any witnesses, the $5 million property that formerly belonged to Evander Holyfield will be lost.

Last week, Rick Ross allegedly dragged a groundskeeper at his mansion inside, beating him multiple times. The Miami native is also being accused of holding a gun to the victim’s chest and threatning to shoot him if he talked. The altercation started after Ross allegedly found out the groundskeeper, who lives on the property, had a party at the mansion the night before.
