Since Rozay’s Drive-by incident, he’s remained relatively quiet on Twitter, but we still we’ve gotten a few signs that he isn’t slowing on the music. His verse on Curren$y’s “Choosin” stood out on the track, and even Pusha says Ross is okay after checking in on him. He just may be taking more precautions and traveling a little safer since the shooting. According to TMZ, Ricky has now hired 24-hour armed guards to watch over him.
Sources close to Ross tell TMZ … the rapper had been getting threats for a while … but he wasn’t too concerned. But we’re told Ross considers the shooting to be an “eye-opener” and will do whatever it takes to keep himself safe.
UPDATE: TMZ has released the audio of the 911 call that was made following the shooting. We hear a female witness detail the events before hanging up in fear that the gunmen were making a second attack.
Listen to it after the jump…

LOL. But what was his Satanic Verses? In all seriousness though, I’m glad he wasn’t hurt. I got a lot of time for Ross as an artist.

I hate this shit. Growing up Kool G Rap had cold ass songs about street shit and no matter if niggas thought it was real or not we accepted the shit as entertainment. Who gives a real fuck if this nigga isnt flipping keys. If im a coke dealer im too concerned with real life street shit than rap shit. I really think niggas look up to these dudes as role models instead of entertainers. Sign o’ the times when a rapper is more influential than a Farrakhan or clergymen. Niggas need a hug. Besides love Ross or despise him, you dont wish death on a man unless he truly deserves it and he aint hurt a fly.

I wish death on him… He raped the culture that raised me.. He made and is making a mockery of a struggle real ppl get caught up in.. He has lost young ppl believeing he survived what they are going through, he has toung ppk believeing tricking/ lying is the path to a goid life. When in reality his road included college, never being arrested and working for law enforcement .. SO YEAH IMMA LAUGH if he gets shot!!!!
