After holding her own with a “perfect” guest verse on Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly, it was only a matter of time before Rapsody got called up to the big leagues. And it’s one of the biggest franchises who’ve come calling.

During her performance at the 2016 Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival over the weekend, the North Carolina MC announced that she’s the newest member of Roc Nation. It’s unclear whether she’s signed as an artist or as a management client (Roc Nation’s site has yet to confirm), but whatever the case, Rapsody is now the only female rapper currently on Jay Z’s roster.

Don’t worry, Rapsody is still down with 9th Wonder and her long-time label, Jamla Records. “Welcome to JamRoc. #Jamla #Rocnation,” she wrote on Instagram. 9th had his own proud father message for Rapsody: “‘She can rap bruh’. Said it 8 years ago. Said it when we dropped her first mixtape 5 1/2 years ago. Said it over and over….Nuff Said.”
