Congrats are in order for Rae Sremmurd. The duo of Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi land their first-ever No. 1 record on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their latest single “Black Beatles.”

Continue after the jump….

Featuring Gucci Mane, the track appears on Rae Sremmurd’s Sremm Life 2 sophomore LP. The Mississippi brothers dethrone The Chainsmokers and Halsey’s “Closer” record, jumping from No. 9 to No. 1 this week on the Hot 100. Gucci Mane also earns his first-ever No. 1 with “Black Beatles.”

Mike WiLl Made-It, who has produced hits for Beyoncé, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Future and more finally gets a No. 1 record with Rae Sremmurd’s smash-hit.

To be able to put Gucci Mane, the person that gave me my first opportunity in music, and Rae Sremmurd, the debut artist from my [imprint, Eardrummer], on what’s both [Rae Sremmurd and Gucci Mane’s] biggest record ever, and the first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 for both, is something I could have never imagined or dreamed of,” says Mike WiLL Made-It to Billboard. “I couldn’t have asked for a better moment to be a part of.”

A big contributor to the record topping the Hot 100 chart is the “Mannequin Challenge” viral craze taking over social media. Videos posted all over online uses “Black Beatles” as their soundtrack. Destiny’s Child, YG, and even legendary Beatles member Paul McCartney all have taken part in the online craze, posting their own “Mannequin Challenge.”
