Thank you to iknowtheledge via nahright for emancipating this footage…I couldnt figure out how to get it off Scratch’s itune podcast, lol….
Remember when I told you about this…..well, here’s proof that Q-tip and Scratch didnt imagine that Prince just walked on their Vegas stage, jacked the guitar off their bandmember, riffed to “Vivrant Thing” and then disappeared like a purple poof of smoke…
It really happened.

I heard if you say the words “Purple Rain” 5 times while looking into a mirror Prince will apear and sing you a special unreleased version of “Darling Nikie”. I’ve tried it but I aways chicken out at the last second.

The funniest part to me is when Tip tries to
“keep it going” and Prince approaches the bass player…
and then Prince just takes off the guitar like
“seriously, i’ll decide if i wanna keep it going”

aside from Prince’s coming out on stage, which was sick, “Award Tour” is among the top 5 hip hop songs (and i’d personally say holds the tops spot) to see performed live.. anyone agree? just hearing that intro come in over and over got me dumb hype!! and tribe KILLED that song at RTB New York..

Damn! I am at work and I clicked on the clip (being a Q-Tip fan, a ridiculous Prince fan AND a fan of the actual song “Vivrant Thing”) and went completely crazy! When Prince walks out, I just had this dumb Kook-Aid smile on my face and started moving to the beat. I had to click off early cuz I didn’t want someone walking past wondering “what the hell is wrong with her?”
