Pusha T Reveals ‘Cruel Summer’ Release Date, Calls Lil’ Wayne Diss ‘Trash’
Posted by Mr.North under interview , new music , quotes[9] Comments
Pusha T stopped by The Funkmaster Flex Show on Hot 97 on Wednesday night to catch up on anything and everything surrounding 1/2 of The Clipse. During their on-air interview, Pusha speaks on his relationship with brother Malice, thoughts on Nicki Minaj’s pullout of Summer Jam, Chris Brown vs. Drake, and who exactly he was speaking to on “Exodus 23:1.” That of course led into talk of Lil’ Wayne’s response “Ghoulish,” which Pusha didn’t hold back expressing his thoughts.
“It was horrible, it was horrible, it was trash. I didn’t like it for that type of record, I haven’t said anything about it because I felt it wasn’t good enough to respond to. I think him saying what he said yesterday that was in his best interest. To admit that you were emotional and reacting to something, like I still want to know what part pertained, like what hit you.“
Pusha also revealed the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album Cruel Summer is tenatively scheduled to drop on August 7. The collective will perform together at the BET Awards 2012 on Sunday, July 1.

Lol yea, Roc still exists only in contract form, but if you wanna be technical since Rocafella is 100 owned by IDJ, he’s basically just signed to Def Jam and HHS78

Jesus Christ, the quotables in that verse were MEAN. Push sounding like Hov in ’96. The imagery, the realism…shit gave me goosebumps. Had my face twisted up the entire time I was listening to that.

MAN!!! I felt the same way. It’s been a while since you had REAL rap. Lets see lil wayne do some free styles with out all those chidlish lines and noises.
That reminded me of how Rocafella used to put out freestlye….
