(Pusha T talks about French Montana’s oddly endearing off-beat “wave”)
Miss Info: Yesterday we gave you the trailer for Pusha T and Rick Ross’ upcoming “Millions” video…along with an interview clip of Pusha sharing the true crime inspiration behind the song’s hook.
But this Monday (Jan.28, 2013), Pusha T releases his latest mixtape, The Wrath of Caine. And just like when we teamed up with Pusha for the listening party for his 2011 Fear of God mixtape , Pusha sat down with me at the Capsule menswear trade show to give you guys an exclusive preview of his new heat….
Pusha T and Miss Info preview Push’s favorite songs off the new mixtape:
“It Doesn’t Matter” Feat. French Montana (Prod. by Harry Fraud)
“Only You Can Tell It” Feat. Wale (Prod. by Kanye West…maybe; )
Watch the video, after the jump…
Pusha T and Miss Info: The Wrath of Caine Mixtape Preview
Thanks for checking our latest on Youtube.com/MissInfoTV.
Much love to Pusha, Steven Victor, Yvette Davila, and of course El Presidente, Joeyie.
Miss Info: A couple interesting notes….along with our mixtape chat, Pusha also told us that he’s been working out of Timbaland’s studio in VA. So it goes without saying, Push has jumped on a couple upcoming Timbo and Missy tracks. (What we really need is that Justin Timberlake x Pusha reunion;) As for his own solo album, Pusha said that he really went back to the drawing board after hearing Kendrick Lamar‘s masterful debut. He’s not alone in that. I’ve heard multiple artists talk about how KL’s album either inspired them or intimidated them. Kind of amazing. Oh, and one last thing…I had to ask Pusha what he thought about Consequence’s recent claims that he ghostwrote Kanye songs and even some Tribe Called Quest songs. He scoffed and dismissed Cons as a “desperate housewife.” Oof!

Push ALWAYS has this major big up to his mixtapes but recently I’ve been on left needing more then whats shown. But we’ll see. He’s a monster lyrically so he’ll always get a solid listen from me. Curious why everyone feels this need to put French on their projects.
*Side Note*
It seems clear Info just up and told God “Naw that’s cool, I dont feel like aging any more….”
