Last week in Complex’s review of Pusha T’s anticipated solo mixtape Fear Of God, it was mentioned that the Clipse front man shouted Lil’ Wayne out on the Nottz-produced “Open Your Eyes”. This of course surprised many because of the well documented beef between The Clipse and Lil’ Wayne that dates back to 2006 around the release of the group’s third studio album, Hell Hath No Fury. Well, Push Ton reveals that any problems in the past is now forgotten as the two recently met up in Miami.

“Ever since Lil Wayne went in to jail, that whole little stint [between me and him] is really dead and over with. I don’t have any ill will towards Wayne, Cash Money, or any of them. There was definitely a time period when I felt a certain way [about him], but as of right now I don’t. That’s just where I once was. I don’t even like speaking on it. [On Fear of God] I actually said, ‘They had freed Weezy, congratulations.’ When I seen Wayne in Miami, I told him, ‘Congratulations on getting out of jail. This kid named Brennan [who’s a mutual friend of mine and Wayne’s]—he helps me with styling at times—we hang out a lot and I seen him in Miami. And he was actually with Wayne and them. So, I was like, ‘Yo, whassup?’ and he came and hollered at me. I told him to get Wayne and once he did I was like, ‘Yo, whassup?’ I seen Wayne at [the Miami nightclub] Liv, this was around last November. We were so far from each other, I was saluting him, Mack Mayne, and all of them. And it was like, ‘I see y’all. It’s all good and congratulations.’ It wasn’t even like we spoke on anything. I just saluted him. I shouted all of them out because I was fucking with the mic. We never spoke on that [past] situation but that shit is like wild old it ain’t nothing to speak on.”
