Two of hip-hop’s elite lyricists team up on “Nosetalgia,” the gritty street cut off Pusha T’s My Name Is My Name album. Virginia and Los Angeles connect over the raw production of Nottz, as Kendrick Lamar makes a guest appearance with aggressive sinister lyrics which surely will have rap fans debating their favorite verse. Speaking recently with HipHopDX, the G.O.O.D. Music MC breaks down the concept of “Nosetalgia.”

“We gave two perspectives [on the song]. [Kendrick Lamar] was giving more, looking from the inside of his home and how his family and his crusade through the drug epidemic affected him. I was giving you the junior high, high school start, showing you what it was and where I was at.”

Arriving October 8, Pusha T’s solo debut album includes contributions from Kanye West, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Pharrell, Hudson Mohawke, The-Dream, Joaquin Phoenix, and more.

UPDATE: CDQ added.
