Pusha T And Tyler The Creator Team Up To Shoot “Trouble On My Mind” (Photos)

Last night, we got a preview on set of Pusha T’s upcoming video for “Trouble On My Mind” with Odd Future’s Tyler, The Creator. Here’s some candid shots on the Jason Goldwatch-directed shoot. The song will appear on Pusha’s upcoming solo EP that’s set to drop in August via G.O.O.D. Music/Decon/Re-Up Gang Records. Besides Tyler, other features to expect on the project include Kanye West and Young Jeezy with production from The Neptunes and Bangledesh.
Below, Goldwatch speaks on the concept of the video:
“No one’s poppin’ more than Pusha, or more than Tyler. It’s pretty fuckin’ rad that these fools got together and brought these two worlds together, so the idea was to bring them into each other’s worlds. So when it’s Pusha’s verse, he’s rapping and Tyler’s dressed like Pusha- gangsta shit. When it’s Tyler’s verse, Pusha’s dressed like a skater. Pusha was even on crutches. We’re tryin’ to bring the rager out of Pusha, and that gangsta street solid shit out of Tyler.”

For those in the Los Angeles area you can catch Pusha T performing tonight at The Key Club.
More photos after the jump…..

What i dont get about this union…is how someone like Push, whos not super religious but def is one to praise God from jump (Lord Willing)…is cool with someone who always something slick to say about Jesus (just for shock purposes i might add which is even more lame). I wonder what Malice thinks. And dont get it twisted im not even that illuminati theorists type (i personally think THAT’S a not so secret society of broke niggas who make outlandish excuses for why there life is fucked up I.E. DMX)…nor am i the overly religious type but my faith wouldnt allow me to fuck with some1 who keeps talkn slick bout the man i have on my cross piece. Thats just me. (Disclaimer: YES i do think their is a secret society that controls significant impactful decisions made in this world but NO I DONT THINK EVERY NIGGA WHO STRUCK IT RICH IS IN IT…NOT EVERYONE HAS TO “SELL THEIR SOUL” TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL…THATS A BROKE ENVIOUS MAN’S COP OUT) 1

i hear that…i dont think i took it THAT far anyway, it was an observation. but i will say this when it comes to religion…i think that’s the only thing you cant fool around with. whatever ur beliefs may be. like i said i believe in the Lord, but im not super religious. but if i were in Push shoes & tyler called me up,i wouldnt knock doing a song with him but i would pull em to the side, like yo wassup with all that silly shit u be saying bro? lol…maybe Push did though…i dont know so i’ll stop there

I think I’m over the whole Odd Future movement. Except for Frank Ocean.

That sums up about 95% of the general public. The hype machine fizzles out b4 it even leaves the station.

Its not necessarily anyone’s fault tho, its just that now that every one gets 15 mins, everyone’s 15 minutes is shorter. There are honestly too many rappers making the same grade of music, and none of it particularly memorable. It’s hard to get invested in any album or artist that you’re only realistically going to play for 15-60 days, because the next great thing comes out tomorrow.

True. I many wonder if the voices of hip hop REALLY feel the music that is presented to us or if its just “doing mt job”. I think you end up respecting the drive and hustle more then the actual product.
