New Music: PSY Feat. 2 Chainz & Tyga “Gangnam Style” (Diplo Remix)

If you thought the “Gangnam Style” craze had died down, think again. With the help of producer Diplo, the South Korean-entertainer calls on two of rap music’s current stars on the remix of pop culture’s viral hit. Over a new bouncy beat, 2 Chainz and Tyga drop some slick verses as Diplo keeps some elements from the original including the song’s refrain “Oppa Gangnam Style.”
DJ Clinton Sparks revealed on Twitter back in December that PSY’s ubiquitous smash-hit would include a remix from Diplo. The video of course claims the title as the most-watched clip in YouTube history surpassing 1 billion views.

Most of this is recycled straight from “Yo El Rey”, a track Diplo produced for Iggy Azalea. C’mon, Diplo: you’re better than that.

Diplo’s the king of the novelty hit now. Whoever is advising him better let him know his 15 minutes of fame are almost up. I thought he was going to be one of the geniuses, but now I think he just wants every dollar he can get.
And the remix is WEAK, admit it.
