In 2014, Kendrick Lamar was invited to Prince’s Paisley Park estate for an album release celebration of the Purple One’s Plectrumelectrum and Art Official Age albums. Though, most of the world obviously was not able to attend (it was livestreamed, however), there is now video of the two performing a cover of Prince’s 1998 “What’s My Name.”

The footage definitely comes as a sight for sore eyes as rumors about prescription drugs being the cause of Prince’s death swirl around the Web. K. Dot has said in the past that the legend was extremely close to appearing on To Pimp A Butterfly. RIP.
