Richard Kern is a perv maverick, that Vice guy (Terry Richardson?) and American Apparel bit the style that Kern innovated in the 80s. He directed a Sonic Youth video and some pretty wild-ass short black and white flicks.

Between all of those artists listed (Sue Kwon’s photography is forever etched into my memory), Bobbito Garcia, Riggs Morales, NCB (I remember when he was the kid the did the “underground shit” at The Source) that is all collection of many of my personal heroes and some legends.

I STILL heven’t bought a proper copy of ESPO’s “The Art Of Getting Up” yet (though I’ve read it several times at different bookstores across New England).
