Last night (October 1), the 2011 BET Hip-Hop Awards opened up with Young Jeezy and T.I. joining the stage together to perform their new single “F.A.M.E.” followed by TIP getting into his solo single, “Flexin”. Others that performed at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center included DMX and Swizz Beatz, Maybach Music Group’s Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and Wale assisted by El DeBarge on “That Way.” Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean and Roscoe Dash, Erykah Badu, and Heavy D with Tyrese also joined in on the live performances. Also, LL Cool J was honored with the “I Am Hip-Hop Icon” Award, which was presented by Nelly.
The full show will be telecasted on October 11 at 8PM EST on BET

Erykah Badu presence is awesome. To say her bet moment and pre-event set was mind blowing is a under statement. I enjoyed seeing T.I back on the scene as well. For the record im never wearing Gucci again.

Whats with this disdain for Lupe Fiasco on this site? I’ve suspected it for a while but now i clearly see u have some sort of problem with him, why no mention that Erykah Badu was performing on HIS set.
