Pharrell brought the good vibes on stage during Day 2 of Coachella 2014 on Saturday night. Backed by a team of beautiful dancers and backup singers, Pharrell and his now staple Buffalo hat turned the Indio, California crowd into one live party at the Outdoor Theatre.

With a star-studded crowd of peers including Beyonce, Jay Z, Lorde, Diplo, and Odd Future watching front row, Pharrell opened his set with Daft Punk’s “Loose Yourself to Dance.” The Grammy Award-winning producer dived right into his newly released G I R L album, with the songs “Come Get It Bae,” and “Hunter.”

The first surprise guest of the night was Nelly, who turned the heat up with hit-song “Hot In Here.” The guest appearances kept rolling in as Busta Rhymes and Diddy joined Pharrell for “Pass the Courvoisier, Part II,” before Odd Future’s Tyler, the Creator helped his idol go back down memory lane, hopping on stage and raging to N.E.R.D.’s “Lapdance.”

Being in California, it was only right that Snoop Dogg touched the stage for The Neptunes-produced hits “Drop It Like Its Hot” and “Beautiful.” With plenty of sexy dancers filling the stage, Skateboard P called on Diplo to join him on stage for his verse on Major Lazer’s “Aeresol Can.”

The name of my album is called G I R L,” said Pharrell. “And I can tell you right now…there’s only but one incredible, historical, most important, incredibly talented, fu**ing awesome rad girl in the world,” as the biggest surprise in Gwen Stefani appeared for “Hollaback Girl,” announcing her return to music.

Apologizing various times during his set for the blowing wind and sand affecting his voice, Pharrell closed the 50-minute set with a medley of current hits including Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines,” Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky,” and his No.1-hit “Happy,” where Lorde, Odd Future, Diplo, Busta Rhymes, and more jumped on stage and danced during the finale.
