Perfect Timing: Chief Keef’s Gun-Happy Xmas Card Before His Weapons Case Hearing

The media can literally make or break a new artist. These days a rapper will dabble in controversy, then put out a hot record, and the majors come calling. For Chicago’s Chief Keef, his SOCIAL media antics have gotten him a lot of attention. Previously, Instagram deleted his account for posting an X-rated pic, but his latest post could actually cause him to temporarily lose his freedom. According to dnainfo, Keef has a rescheduled court hearing today for a past weapons case, and we know Pitchfork was forced to hand in their video clip of the teenage rapper at a shooting range with them. However, Chief’s “Christmas card” could really seal his fate.

I think nhe knows he’s not that good of a rapper and the stress of living up to the hype is making him panic like a motherfucker and become very self-destructive!

I’m sorry but what an idiot. Why would he even post any photo of himself with guns. I don’t know anything about his court case, but after the tragic events of last friday in Newtown, CT – with the entire country on edge and mourning the loss of innocent children, and especially how most people are now FED UP with these lax gun laws – why would he further perpetuate gun violence.
His court hearing about his past weapons charge may not go so well now, especially with most people (possibly including the jurors and judge at his eventual trial) upset about the recent tragedy. Good luck getting out of this one… you’re gonna need it
