PARTYNEXTDOOR has found himself in trouble with the law. The singer/songwriter was arrested for drug possession at the U.S.-Canada border in Niagara County on Thursday morning (Oct. 5).

According to News 4 Buffalo/WIVB, the 24-year-old’s (real name Jahron Brathwaite) tour bus was stopped for secondary inspection at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, a major border crossing from Canada into the United States.

State Troopers were called in to assist U.S. Customs and Border personnel. PARTYNEXTDOOR was found in possession of Xanax and Oxycodone, while his friend Jerome Nevins, also 24, was also in possession of Xanax. The two were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and were issued appearance tickets returnable in the Town of Lewiston Court.

The incident comes after PND recently dropped his new EP Seven Days and began the “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom” tour with Halsey and Charli XCX.
